Blossom Print

from $80.00

Petals don’t fall, they rise. Decay seen as a rebirth. The shapes are a window into the merging of different elemental worlds. The colors are produced from mineral and earth matter such as lazurite, ochre, copper, and tourmaline alongside commercially synthesized pigments and handpicked rocks from mountain rivers near my home in WA. A bridging between handmade and manufactured, natural and synthetic, wild and urban.

Originally painted with Iron Oxide and Graphite from Washington, Hematite and Iron Oxide from Wonder Valley, Azurite sourced from Kazakhstan, Quinacridone, Tourmaline, Pyrrole, Copper Vitriol, and a few others.
